Writers’ Meet-up: Finding Focus

In this meeting of the CACN Writers’ Network, we’ll discuss some of the difficulties in finding focus in our work, particularly as we get into the colder winter months. We’ll share strategies for making time and headspace for creativity, and ways we can find support to develop our creative work.

It’s also a chance to meet other writers, discover what they’re up to and share opportunities and insights.

This session will be facilitated by Katie Hale.

Based in Cumbria, Katie Hale is an internationally recognised novelist & poet, with over a decade’s experience of leading and facilitating creative programmes. She won a Northern Debut Award for her poetry collection, White Ghosts, and is the author of two novels: My Name is Monster, and The Edge of Solitude; as well as two poetry pamphlets. She has also written for radio, theatre and immersive digital performance.
