During previous Writers’ Networks, a lot of us have said we want to learn more about each other’s work. So we’re holding an online Writers’ Salon!
We’ll have four 7-minute ‘salon spots’ for writers to talk about their work. Unlike a traditional open mic (where people read from their work/work-in-progress), we’d like you to talk about your work instead. So your salon spot might take us through your career to date. Or tell us about the subject areas that inform/influence your writing. Or talk us through your process. Or outline some collaborations you’re particularly proud of. Or choose three key projects that exemplify what you do. The choice is yours!

We’ll pick four at random. If selected, you’ll then have the week to prepare your 7 minutes. Around the talks, we’ll have Q&A’s and breakout rooms, where we can ask more questions, and get further discussion going. Let’s get to know each other’s work!
Please feel free to attend the event if you’re not speaking, and you don’t have to have attended previous events to come along.
