We bring the arts and cultural sector together across Cumbria. We do this by hosting regular online and in-person meetings enabling people to connect, share ideas and develop projects, helping people communicate effectively and reducing duplication.
Empower
We support members to do great things. We are committed to developing the sector in its broadest sense, coordinating the development of ideas and projects and supporting collaboration.
Champion
We advocate for culture and the arts, shining a light on Cumbrian activity to the wider world. We passionately believe in the role the arts play in community cohesion, economic development, employment, health and wellbeing and in tackling the climate emergency.
Extend
We cultivate the right environment for new work and innovation. We develop skills for all through training and personal development, creating and sharing opportunities, and particularly want to help young people develop careers in the Cumbrian cultural sector.
