Building a business as an artist can be tricky as it’s easy to lose sight of the bigger picture as you get caught up in the day-to-day jobs. What are you building? is a session designed to help you get specific about your business and to identify a clear vision for your practice, allowing you to develop and grow as a creative whilst also building a business.
What this session does
Using a simple framework, you will answer questions about your practice, your vision and your business looking at where you are now and identifying concrete actions you can take to move forward. We’ll look at what your goals are, what kind of organisation might work for you, where the gaps are in your income streams and what sustainable practice looks like for you.
What you leave with
At the end of the session, you will leave with clear and specific actions for you to work on over the following 90 days, as well as a clear view of your current and potential income streams.
Who is this for?
Artists and creatives who are ready to think seriously about what they’re building, whether you’re just starting out, mid-career and feeling stuck, or established and wanting to move in a new direction.
Who’s the trainer?
Sita Brand is an internationally successful performance storyteller, and founder and CEO of Settle Stories. She has also worked as a director and producer in the UK, India and South East Asia.
