Simon Whalley is an experienced creative facilitator, coach, artist and consultant with over 34 years’ experience in personal development work, focusing on community development, collaborative leadership and high quality art. He has lived in Cumbria for 35 years. He has an ability to communicate exceptionally well with people from all aspects of society. In addition he has considerable leadership experience, gained in a number of roles within the private, public, and charitable sectors.
He is also a practising creative entrepreneur, working as a conservation photographer in the natural world. Simon is co-creator of the Wilder Clay Gallery in Penrith and engages audiences through his work to help people reconnect with nature. As well as his physical space he also works through online digital platforms to build communities.
He says ‘I am a qualified coach and mentor, so would support anyone in a friendly and inquisitive way to ensure they achieve the best they can. I have worked with many people to help them remove the barriers that are in their own mind and which stop them achieving their goals.’
