We have got a whole host of training sessions coming up over the next month. Open to everybody, there are a range of events covering a host of different topics; from bid writing and marketing to pitching and vision, we’ve got you covered.

Promoting and Marketing: Stand Out From the Crowd – 5th & 18th May

Public Relations (PR) is all about how you communicate with the wider world, get people interested in what you’re doing… and getting them to pay for it. Run by Dickie Felton, communications professional and ex-journalist.

What Are You Actually Building? Vision, Planning and Structure for Artists – 14th May

Most artists are so caught up in the day-to-day that the bigger question never gets asked: What am I actually building? And why? Without an answer, every decision feels equally urgent. Every opportunity looks like it might be the right one. Every year ends more or less where the last one started. This session exists to change that.

Who Is Your Client Outside the Arts? Finding and Pitching to Non-Arts Clients and Buyers – 19th May

Financially resilient artists have often done one thing differently: they’ve found at least one strong income stream somewhere outside the arts sector. This session helps you find them, understand them, and reach them with a pitch that lands. Led by Sita Brand, an internationally successful performance storyteller, and founder and CEO of Settle Stories.

Setting Up An Arts Organisation: And Introduction to Not-For-profit Structures – 20th May

If you’re thinking about setting up a not-for-profit company, Community Interest Company (CIC) or charity, this training will help you explore the options available and give you the information to decide your next steps.

You can find all of the information about each of the training sessions on our website, or ping us an email on hello@cacn.co.uk if you have any questions.
